JIGSAW V2.1 - README FILE ============================= List of Topics In This File:- 1. CONTEXT SENSITIVE HELP 2. OPENING JIGSAW V1 PROJECTS 3. SAVING JIGSAW V1 PROJECTS 4. VERSION CHANGES ============================= 1. CONTEXT SENSITIVE HELP ------------------------- Press the F1 key in any screen in JigSaw to get context sensitive help from a standard Windows help file. 2. OPENING JIGSAW V1 PROJECTS ----------------------------- JigSaw v2.1 can open any projects created with either JigSaw v1 or JigSaw v2. No special action is required on the user's part to open old project files. 3. SAVING JIGSAW V1 PROJECTS ---------------------------- Note that once you open and re-save any project which was a JigSaw v1 project, then it can no longer be opened again with JigSaw v1 because it is saved in a new v2 format. Hence, if you have kept a sepaate copy of JigSaw v1, then when you open any project from your old JigSaw v1 directories, it would be wise to immediately re-save into your new JigSaw v2 directories before proceeding, to ensure that your old project files remain accessible from JigSaw v1. 4. VERSION CHANGES ------------------ From v2.1.1 to 2.1.2 ------------------ * Link to Solar Fire was sending rectification projects to v6 of Solar Fire in preference to newer ones. Now fixed. * When a project was recalculated, Astraea and Hygeia may have had missing data - due to missing SwissEph ephemeris files. Now, when a project is opened, JS automatically deletes any position files created prior to installation of v2.1.2. From v2.1.0 to 2.1.1 ------------------ * Rectification projects - Node and Chiron data was missing from rectification graphs in some cases, even though these points were selected for inclusion with that graph. Now fixed. * ACS Atlas lookup - if an atlas lookup resulted in a list of places, selecting a place from that list failed to retrieve the place details. Now fixed.
